STAY CALM

If you experience some sort of dental accident, the best thing you can do is to stay calm. While you may feel inclined to panic due to the pain and stress of an injury, you can take comfort knowing it can be treated, and our team is here to help get you back to a healthy, pain-free smile.

REDUCE BLEEDING

Once you’ve gained control of the situation, take assessment of your injury. If you’re experiencing any bleeding, place a strip of gauze on the site of the injury and apply pressure with your by biting down on the gauze.

CONTROL SWELLING

Over-the-counter medications like ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help to temporarily reduce pain and swelling. However, steer clear of any blood-thinning medications like aspirin. An ice pack or cold compress can be applied to the cheek near the affected area to help reduce pain and inflammation.

As a commitment to provide exceptional patient care, we work with you on a one-on-one basis to help you find the most appropriate payment options for their budget. At Mosaic Smiles, our Arlington, VA dental team is happy to process and file insurance claims from any provider. We are in-network for many major dental insurance providers and are happy to work with patients to help them make the most of their benefit plan.

When can I start using my membership?

How do I schedule my preventive care?

Simply call our office and set up an appointment for yourself or your family members.!

How can I use my Member Exclusive discount for restorative, elective or cosmetic treatment?

Simply schedule an appointment with our office and be sure to tell us you’re a member. When you arrive, we’ll make sure your membership is “current” and you will be eligible for instant savings off our regular fees.

How do I know if I need Perio membership?

If you’re a current patient, please contact us to confirm you’re on Perio Maintenance. If you are a new patient, we will make a recommendation after your initial exam.

What happens if I miss an appointment?

It will be your responsibility to reschedule. Please see our office policy regarding no-shows and last minute cancellations.

Can I add members to my account?

Absolutely! Your entire family can join.

Can I transfer my membership to another dentist?

Your club membership is solely with our office and as such is non-transferrable. If you move to another area, you may cancel your membership at any time.

How can I check on the status of my account?

Login to your Member Portal and look under Account Members. You’ll see the status of each member above his/her name.

Can I change or update my billing information?

Yes! Simply login to your Member Portal and click “Edit Your Payment Method”.

How do I cancel my membership?

Login to your Member Portal and click the “Remove” button for each member you’d like to cancel.

If I cancel, can I get a refund on my membership?

No. Refunds will not be provided for dues paid under any circumstances, including failure to schedule and maintain appointments.

How much do I pay to sign up for my club membership?

You’ll pay only the Lifetime Activation fee to join. This fee includes your first month’s membership dues.

Can I prepay my membership fees?

Memberships are currently month-to-month only.

What information is required for me to sign up for my club membership?

Dr. Hisham Barakat

Dr. Hisham Barakat is one of the top implant dentists in the US, recognized for his expertise in dental implants and innovative gum recession treatments. As a Board Certified Implantologist, he is among the top specialists in Virginia. Dr. Barakat earned his dental degree in Egypt and completed residencies at LSU. He has achieved prestigious credentials like Diplomate status from the American Board of Oral Implantology and Fellow status from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He lectures nationally and internationally on implant dentistry and serves as faculty at VCU School of Dentistry. Dr. Giovanni Caballero

Dr. Caballero is a graduate of Howard University School of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dentistry and completed an additional one year of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in 2010. Dr. Caballero participates in continuing education courses and study clubs around the nation focusing on restorative aesthetic dentistry and dental photography allowing him to offer detailed procedures with enhanced imaging and technology.

With 14 years of experience in general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Caballero specializes in providing advanced services in dentistry such as minimally invasive dentistry to preserve natural tooth structure, dental implants, laser dentistry, traditional crowns, bridges, dentures and smile transformations from whitening to porcelain veneers to Invisalign.

Dr. Jailan Khorsheed

Dr. Jailan Khorsheed received her dental degree (BDS) from Cairo University, Egypt in 2010.
Upon completion of a one-year internship after graduation, she started practicing as a general dentist in Egypt.

Three years later, Dr. Khorsheed moved to the United States where she attended the AEGD residency program at Columbia University in the city of NY, NY from 2020 to 2021. During this two-year period, Dr. Khorsheed was exposed to a variety of complex cases and worked on establishing several comprehensive treatment plans. Her efforts throughout her residency were crowned with receiving the Clinical Excellence Recognition Award from Columbia University.

Dr. Khorsheed is passionate and enthusiastic about keeping up with the latest technology and techniques to deliver the best dental care to our patients.
